Rice water when used carefully is a great ingredient to rehab and rebuild your hair strands. Studies show that rice water contains inositol, a carbohydrate that repairs damaged hair. This inositol stays in the hair even after the rice water is rinsed off, acting as a shield and protecting your hair from damage. Rice water also contains amino acids that strengthen the hair roots, increase hair volume, and make your hair shiny and smooth. Rice water on its own can be alot of protien to take, that is why we have paired it with other ingredients to add balance and moisture. This is the perfect mask for scalp health, stronger hair strands and overall healthy hair.
Our Rice Water Health & Strength Hair Mask was created for hair and scalp in need of deep repair. While it is a strengthening hair treatment, which means protein, we also added ingredients to balance it with moisture. This hair mask is also really beneficial for scalp health as each ingredient targets the scalp specifically to soothe, heal and moisturize. Does this mask help with hair growth? Yes it does! By maintaining the health of your hair and scalp you will stimulate growth and begin to retain length.
Belle Tip: A strengthening/protein treatment must be applied wisely for beautiful results.
For our High Porosity gals, apply our Rice Water Health & Strength Hair Mask 1-2 times per month while alternating between deep conditioning.
Low/Normal Porosity ladies, apply every 4-6 weeks.

Serving Size: 2.5 Teaspoons
Servings Per Container: 8
In bowl add 2.5 teaspoons of your hair mask with 3 tablespoons of warm water or Aloe Vera Juice. Mix the water and the hair mask together and press out all of the lumps. Add 1 Cup of your favorite moisturizing conditioner and/or 1 cup of your blended fresh ingredient Mix, press out or blend well to a consistency of baby food and strain. Apply mix on individually on each section all the way down to the ends. Comb with wide tooth comb or fingers from ends to scalp. Leave in for minimum 1 hour. Cover your head with a plastic cap.
Optional - Sit under a hair dryer for at least 20 minutes for deeper penetration. Co wash hair in sections 2-3 times with conditioner using cool water to make sure all ingredients are out of your hair Use an old t-shirt to squeeze excess water out of your hair Apply Leave in conditioner
Tip: Henna, Fenugreek, and Rice Water are strengthening protein hair treatments. If you are experiencing overload, stop using strengthening treatments, use a moisturizing treatment every week until your hair feels balanced again.
High Porosity : Those with high porosity hair do not have a lot of protein in their hair strands. Because of the low protein, the hair strand is not very strong. Causing it to feel dry and un-moisturized.. Get into the habit of weekly deep conditioning, with mild protein treatments applied about once or twice per month. Alternate every week with our moisturizing masks and our strengthening masks.
Low Porosity: Those with low porosity hair do not need alot of protien and can be prone to protien overload. We have added balancing ingredients to this rice water to make it moisturizing. We suggest if your are low porosity to not use more than once a month. It will keep your hair strong without adding too much protien.
